Springdale is a town in eastern Washington County, Utah and had a population of 529 at the 2010 census. It is located immediately outside the boundaries of Zion National Park, and is oriented around the resulting tourist industry. It was originally settled as a Mormon farming community in 1862. Forbes Traveler has stated Springdale to be one of the 20 "prettiest towns" in America. Springdale is located at an elevation of 3,900 feet (1,200 m).
